Cookie Policy
A short, honest account of the cookies this site uses, why they are there, and how to switch the non-essential ones off whenever you like.
Last updated 29 May 2026
This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy and explains how AA2 Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device when you visit. It lets the site remember things between pages and visits, such as a choice you have made. Similar technologies, like local storage and small tracking pixels, work in much the same way, and we cover them here too.
Cookies are not harmful, and they cannot read the rest of your device. Some are needed for a site to work at all. Others are optional, and that is where your choice comes in.
The cookies this site uses
We keep this deliberately light.
Essential cookies
These are needed for the site to function and to remember your cookie choices. They do not track you and cannot be switched off through a banner, because the site would not work properly without them. They are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a working website.
The booking widget
When you open the calendar booking widget to schedule a call, our third-party booking provider may set its own cookies on your device. These help the widget load and function correctly. Because the widget is provided by a separate company, those cookies are governed by that provider's own cookie and privacy terms. The widget only appears when you choose to book a call.
Analytics cookies
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages people read and roughly where visitors come from. Where these rely on non-essential cookies, we set them only after you have given consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. They help us improve the site. They are never used to build an advertising profile of you. [TO CONFIRM: the specific analytics provider and exact cookie names, to be verified by Martin.]
We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or for selling your data.
Your choice
How to control cookies
You are always in charge. There are two simple ways to manage what is stored on your device.
On this site
When you first visit, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your mind at any time, and declining them will not stop the site working.
In your browser
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies in its settings, usually under privacy or security. You can also browse privately or set the browser to clear cookies when you close it. Blocking all cookies may affect how some sites behave.
Most browsers explain how to manage cookies in their help pages, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. If you use the booking widget and want to manage the cookies it sets, you can do that through your browser in the same way.
Keeping it current
Changes, and how to reach us
We may update this policy if the cookies we use change. When we do, we will update the date at the top of the page. This version is dated 29 May 2026.
For anything to do with cookies or your privacy, email us at info@aa2.co.uk, or write to AA2 Ltd, Bowman Business Centre, Wiltshire SN4 7DB. You can also read how we handle personal data in our Privacy Policy.
