Why the solo operator model delivers better results.
I started AA2 nearly a decade ago with a laptop, a phone, and a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet tracked the people I was calling for my first client. The phone was how I reached them. The laptop was where I wrote the follow-up emails, one at a time, by hand.
That first client is still a client. Not because I have never made a mistake, but because they have never had to explain their business twice. They have never been handed off to a junior account manager. They have never wondered who is actually working on their campaigns.
You will never be handed off to an account manager. You will never explain your business twice.
The tools have changed completely since those early days. What used to take me a week now takes an afternoon. The data is better. The automation is smarter. The reporting is real-time instead of monthly. But the principle has not changed: one person who knows your business, supported by an infrastructure that handles the scale.
Most agencies grow by hiring juniors and hoping the clients do not notice. I chose a different path. Every piece of technology I use exists so that I can deliver what a team of five or six people would normally handle, without the communication overhead, without the handoffs, without the dilution.
When you work with AA2, you are not hiring a person. You are hiring a system that happens to have a person at the centre of it. The person handles the conversations, the thinking, and the decisions. The system handles everything else.
Data enrichment, email automation, campaign scheduling, follow-up sequences, reporting, analysis, and pipeline tracking all run through systems I have built and refined over nearly a decade. They are not off-the-shelf tools configured out of the box. They are custom-built workflows designed around how B2B sales actually work.
Tools change. Foundations don't.
